29 CFR 1910.23(c)(1):     Open-sided floors and/or platforms four feet or more above adjacent floor or ground level were not guarded with standard railings (or equivalent):    (a)The employee operator of the mulling machine is exposed to a fall-to-ground hazard of approximately ten feet while standing on a metal platform.    Abatement documentation is not required, as this violation was corrected during the inspection.

29 CFR 1910.179(j)(3):     Complete inspections of the crane were not being performed at intervals as generally defined in paragraph (j)(1)(ii)(b) of this section:    (a) The employer did not complete periodic (yearly at minimum) inspections of its overhead P&H 623U Zip-Lift Hoist crane, exposing employees to permanent and disabling injuries as a result of spilled molten metal in the event of a crane failure.
