Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to the hazard of being struck-by a rotating blade as a result of not being provided with a stable location to cut wood and lumber using a circular saw:    On or about November 20, 2012, at a renovation site, an employee was using a circular saw to cut a piece of wood with the wood laying across his leg, exposing the employee to the hazard of blade binding or loss of control which may result in laceration and amputation.
