29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1):     Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.    a. On or about 11/29/2012, at the job site - the general contractor, Knapp & Sons, Inc.  permitted employees from Everhart Contracting, Inc. to work near the edge of the roof without any type of fall protection, exposing Knapp & Sons, Inc. superintendent and the Everhart Contracting, Inc. employees to an 11 feet fall hazard.
