(b) Cast Rite Metal Company - The employer did not ensure that the Saw Operator (exposed to 97.6 dBA) was wearing hearing protectors, on or about December 14, 2012. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

29 CFR 1910.95(d)(1): When information indicated that any employee's exposure may equal or exceed an 8-hour time-weighted average of 85 decibels, the employer did not develop and implement a monitoring program: (a) Cast Rite Metal company, Inc. - The employer did not develop a monitoring program for the Belt Grinder, Saw Operator, Bench Grinder, Molder, or Knock-Off Operator. All of which were found exposed to occupational noise greater than an eight hour time weighted average 90.0 decibels, on or about December 14, 2012. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
