29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1)(vii):     For all scaffolds not otherwise specified in paragraphs (g)(1)(i) through (g)(1)(vi) of this section, each employee shall be protected by the use of personal fall arrest systems or guardrail systems meeting the requirements of paragraph (g)(4) of this section.    a)	On or about December 7, 2012; on the west side of the jobsite, the employer allowed employees to stand on a scaffold platform at a height of approx. eighteen (18) feet while performing masonry work without the use of a personal fall arrest system or appropriate guardrail systems.      Southeastern Commercial Masonry, LLC. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1)(vii), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 314770876, citation number 01, item number 001B and was affirmed as a final order on 10/7/2011, with respect to a workplace located at 990 Harrison Ave., New Orleans, LA 70124.    Pursuant to 29 C.F.R. 1903.19, within (10) calendar days of the abatement date, the employer must submit documentation showing that it is in compliance with the standard, including describing the steps that it is taking to ensure that employees are utilizing personal fall arrest systems or appropriate guardrail systems while standing on a scaffold above ten (10) feet.
