Employees were exposed to contact with flying particles possibly resulting in eye injury and while plating work pieces exposing them to contact with liquid chemicals such as, but not limited to, sulfuric acid and chromic acid possibly resulting in eye or face injury.      a)  A buffing/polishing employee wore safety glasses without side shields while buffing and polishing finished work pieces on grease wheel and on a sisal wheel exposing him to hazards from flying particles.      b)  The plater wore only prescription glasses while cleaning parts to be plated and while plating with nickel followed by chromium exposing him to hazards from contact with corrosive chemicals.
