29 CFR 1903.19(c)(1): The employer did not certify to OSHA, within 10 calendar days after the abatement date, that the cited violation had been abated: Janny Construction, Inc. did not provide certification on each of the cited items: (a) The employer failed to conduct inspections of the worksite to ensure that employees were not exposed to hazards. This created a condition in which employees were exposed to fall hazards. (b) The employer failed to ensure that each employee conducting roofing work were protected from falling to the lower level by the use of a fall protection system. This exposed employees to a fall hazard of approximately 12.7 feet.

(a) The employer failed to ensure that each employee conducting roofing work were protected from falling to the lower level by the use of a fall protection system. This exposed employees to a fall hazard of approximately 12.7 feet.
