On or about 01/08/13, at the site of 31-84 30th Street. Long Island City, NY Employees working on the ground were in danger of head injury from falling objects such as, but not limited to tools and materials from other employees who on the scaffolds above them. Protective helmets were not worn. ABATEMENT VERIFICATION IS REQUIRED PURSUANT TO 29 CFR 1903.19.

Long Island City, NY Employees working on the fabricated frame scaffolds in the front of the 3-family houses were exposed to the hazard of falling approximately 18 ft. The working platforms were installed with only two or three scaffold planks. ABATEMENT VERIFICATION IS REQUIRED PURSUANT TO 29 CFR 1903.19.
