29 CFR 1926.102(b)(1): Selection of shade numbers for welding filter. Table E-2 was not used as a guide for the selection of the proper shade numbers of filter lenses. First floor; a plumber soldered copper pipe with acetylene gas without the use of #2 shaded safety glasses. This condition exposed the employee to direct radiant energy.
