29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(v):  A body belt with lanyard attached to the boom or basket was not worn by employee(s) working from an aerial lift:    The employer does not ensure that employees wear a body belt with a lanyard attached to the boom or basket when working form the aerial lift.  This violation was observed on or about January 15, 2013 on Hempstead Highway where an employee was exposed to an ejection hazard when working form an Altec Aerial Lift (SN:0308EN0119) without being tied off.    Pursuant to 29 C.F.R. 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the abatement date, the employer must submit documentation showing that it is in compliance with the standard, including describing the steps that it is taking to ensure that employees wear ejection protection while working from aerial lifts.
