Adjustable blade guarding was missing to prevent hand injuries and digit amputation while employees cut metal posts.  These saws were a:        1 JET Horizontal Band Saw - the unused portion of the blade was not guarded and        2 Grob vertical band saw - the unused portion of the blade above the rollers was not guarded

29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A): Flexible cords and/or cables were used as a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure:    (a) Near the paint area, a relocatable power power tap was attached to the workbench table leg by zip ties.  Connected to the multiple outlet power strip were a coffee pot, radio, microwave and another piece of equipment.   The power strip was conncted to a wall outlet by an extension cord.

29 CFR 1910.1025(l)(1)(i): Employee(s) working in an area where there is potential exposure to airborne lead at any level were not informed of the content of Appendices A and B of 29 CFR 1910.1025:    (a) Employees were not informed of the hazards of lead exposure and the requirements of the lead standard (29 CFR 1910.1025).  Employees are potentialy exposed to lead dust as they cut and grind painted metal posts prior to welding.
