29 CFR 1926.1101(d)(5): As supervisor of the entire project, the general contractor did not ascertain whether the asbestos contractor was in compliance with the asbestos standard, and did not require such contractor to come into compliance with this standard:   LOCATION: Boyden Library, Foxboro MA:    The general contractor did not verify standard compliance of the asbestos abatement contractor, during the asbestos abatement/transom window removal portion of this project in that:   Instance A) The abatement contractor did not evaluate respiratory hazards, relevant workplace and user factors and base respirator selection on these factors.   Instance B) The asbestos abatement contractor did not conduct an exposure assessment immediately before or at the initiation of their abatement activities to ascertain expected exposures.   Instance C) The asbestos abatement contractor did not collect representative 8 hour samples of employee exposures during abatement activities.
