29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where the eyes or body of any person may be exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body shall be provided within the work area for immediate emergency use. The eyewash station in the scope room was not suitable for employees using corrosive chemicals, such as, but not limited to Rapicide disinfection liquid. The eyewash station was not readily accessible, required multiple steps to activate, and the water temperature was not regulated.

29 CFR 1910.1030(c)(1)(v): The employer, who is required to establish an Exposure Control Plan, did not solicit input from non-managerial employees responsible for direct patient care who are potentially exposed to injuries from contaminated sharps in the identification, evaluation and selection of effective engineering and work practice controls and did not document the solicitation in the Exposure Control plan: The employer did not allow the employees, who use sharps in their daily work routine, an opportunity to provide input on the types of sharps used within the center.
