29 CFR 1910.303(b)(2): Listed or labeled electrical equipment was not used or installed in accordance with instructions included in the listing or labeling:    (a)  University Center Program Managers workspace;  A relocatable power tap was plugged into another relocatable power tap, violating the power taps UL listing and labeling. The UL listing states that relocatable power taps are designed to be plugged into an outlet, and not daisy chained and plugged into other relocatable power taps or extension cords.  This exposes employees to possible electrical fire hazards.      (b)  Break Room;  A full size Hot Point refrigerator was plugged into an extension cord, which was plugged into a relocatable power tap, violating the UL listing and labeling of the extension cord and relocatable power tap. The UL listing states that relocatable power taps are designed to be plugged into an outlet, and not daisy chained and plugged into other relocatable power taps or extension cords.  The UL listing states that relocatable power taps are designed for low amperage computer and audiovisual types of equipment, and not appliances.  This exposes employees to possible electrical fire hazards.      (c)  Break Room;  A Sharp microwave, Toastmaster toaster, and Mr. Coffee coffee pot were plugged into a 3 way extension cord, which was plugged into a relocatable power tap, violating the extension cord and relocatable power taps UL listing and labeling. The UL listing states that relocatable power taps are designed to be plugged into an outlet, and not daisy chained and plugged into other relocatable power taps or extension cords.  The UL listing states that relocatable power taps are designed for low amperage computer and audiovisual types of equipment, and not appliances.  This exposes employees to possible electrical fire hazards.      (d)  Break Room;  A water cooler/ heater was plugged into a relocatable power tap, violating the relocatable power taps UL listing and labeling. The UL listing states that relocatable power taps are designed for low amperage computer and audiovisual types of equipment, and not appliances.  This exposes employees to possible electrical fire hazards.      (e)  Break Room;  A Mr. Coffee coffee pot was plugged into a relocatable power tap, violating the relocatable power taps UL listing and labeling. The UL listing states that relocatable power taps are designed for low amperage computer and audiovisual types of equipment, and not appliances.  This exposes employees to possible electrical fire hazards.

29 CFR 1910.37(b)(4):  The direction of travel to the exit or exit discharge was not immediately apparent, thus signs must be posted over the exit access doors indicating the direction of travel to the nearest exit and exit discharge; Additionally, the line-of-sight to an exit sign was not clearly visible at all times:    a)  The conference room exit door did not have an exit sign.     b)  The main entrance/ exit door did not have an exit sign.     c)  The copy room/ break room exit door did not have an exit sign.
