29 CFR 1910.1025(h)(1):     All surfaces were not maintained as free as practicable of accumulations of lead:    (a) Precious Metal Refining Services, Inc. did not maintain all surfaces as free as practicable of accumulations of lead.  On February 6, 2013, a wipe sample was taken from the table adjacent to the timeclock in the fire assay area.  Surface contamination of lead was measured at 1092 micrograms of lead.      In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET), and in addition, documentation demonstrating that abatement is complete must be included with your certification.  This documentation may include, but is not limited to, evidence of the purchase or repair of the equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement, or other written records.    Precious Metals Refining Services, Inc. was previously cited for this violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, 29 CFR 1910.1025(h)(1),which was contained in OSHA inspection number 242748, citation number 1, item 10, issued on July 24, 2012,  and was affirmed as a final order on August 8, 2012,with respect to a workplace located at 1000 N. Rand Road, Wauconda, IL 60084.
