29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): On or about February 8, 2013, at 1710 Thunder Gulch Pass, Suwanee, Georgia: a) Two employees performing framing work were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 12.8-feet while framing a porch roof without using fall protection. b) Three employees performing framing work were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 9-feet while framing a house while walking and standing inside the trusses without using fall protection. c) Four employees performing framing work were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 20.6-feet while working near an unprotected edge and unfinished stairwell that did not have guard rails. d) Four employees performing framing work were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 20.6-feet when they used a stairway that did not have steps installed. e) Two employees performing framing work were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 21.3-feet when they worked from the framework of the gable they were installing without using fall protection.
