29 CFR 1910.213(c)(1): Each circular hand-fed ripsaw was not guarded by a hood which completely enclosed that portion of the saw above the table and that portion of the saw above the material being cut.     On or about February 7, 2013, employees were exposed to amputation hazards while using the Grizzly table saw with an unguarded blade.

Employees were exposed to being struck by material thrown back at them.

29 CFR 1910.215(a)(4): Work rests. On offhand grinding machines, work rests shall be used to support the work. They shall be of rigid construction and designed to be adjustable to compensate for wheel wear. Work rests shall be kept adjusted closely to the wheel with a maximum opening of one-eighth inch to prevent the work from being jammed between the wheel and the rest, which may cause wheel breakage. The work rest shall be securely clamped after each adjustment. The adjustment shall not be made with the wheel in motion.    On or about February 7, 2013, work rests on the Century 8" grinder were not properly adjusted.   Employees were exposed to injuries should the wheel break.

29 CFR 1910.305(g)(2)(iii): Flexible cords and cables shall be connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief is provided that will prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws.    a.  The power cord for the Grizzly table saw had the outer cover pulled away from the plug.    b.  The power cord for the Ventamatic Fan had the outer cover pulled away from the plug.
