29 CFR 1926.405(j)(1)(i):   Live parts. Fixtures, lampholders, lamps, rosettes, and receptacles shall have no live parts normally exposed to employee contact. However, rosettes and cleat-type lampholders and receptacles located at least 8 feet (2.44 m) above the floor may have exposed parts.  (a) Lot 112, The Township at Colony Park, Ridgeland MS - On or about February 8, 2013 employees were using a blue, 4 outlet, electrical receptacle that had exposed electrical parts. The receptacle did not have a cover and a knock out plug located on the back of the receptacle box was missing.

Cabinets, cutout boxes, fittings, boxes, and panelboard enclosures in damp or wet locations shall be installed so as to prevent moisture or water from entering and accumulating within the enclosures. In wet locations the enclosures shall be weatherproof.  (a) Lot 112, The Township at Colony Park, Ridgeland MS - On or about February 8, 2013 employees were using a blue, 4 outlet, electrical receptacle that was not enclosed to prevent water from entering and accumulating inside the receptacle box.  The receptacle was used outside in a damp environment.

Flexible cords shall be connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief is provided which will prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws.  (a) Lot 112, The Township at Colony Park, Ridgeland MS - On or about February 8, 2013 employees were using an extension cord that had the outer sheathing pulled away from the plug.  A circular saw was plugged into the extension cord.

Fixture wires may be used: For installation in lighting, fixtures and in similar equipment where enclosed or protected and not subject to bending or twisting while in use.  (a) Lot 112, The Township at Colony Park, Ridgeland MS - On or about February 8, 2013 a blue, 4 outlet, electrical receptacle was connected to an indoor electrical wire (Romex) and was subjected to bending and twisting.  The indoor electrical wire was being used in the same manner as a flexible cord.
