29 CFR 1910.138(a):   The employer did not select and require employees to use appropriate hand protection when employees hands were exposed to hazardous condition:  a) Power Partners, Inc., Athens, GA - In the Core Form area, employees were exposed to laceration hazards while cutting paper utilizing  a knife. Cut resistant gloves were not required, on or about 2/13/13.  b) Power Partners, Inc., Athens, GA - In the Large Mount area, employees were exposed to laceration hazards while cutting insulation material utilizing  a knife. Cut resistant gloves were not required, on or about 2/13/13.  In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).

A door was provided as a guard but was left opened to allow the lead of the aluminum coil to be processed exposing employees to a pinch and amputation hazards, on/about 2/13/13.
