29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m)  or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b), nor did the employer demonstrate that it is infeasible or creates a greater hazard to use these systems and develop and implement a fall protection plan which meets the requirements of paragraph (k) of section 1926.502:     a)  Main roof of residence.  An employee was exposed to fall hazards while caulking trim and windows from an unprotected steep pitched roof. The main roof of the residence was sloped at 12 in 12 and was 13-feet above ground level. The exposed employees was not wearing a personal fall arrest system and there no other means of fall protection in use.    b) Porch roof of residence. An employees was exposed to fall hazards while caulking trim and windows from an unprotected steep pitched roof. The pitch of the porch roof was 8 in 12 and it was 12-feet 6-inches above ground level. The exposed employee was not wearing a personal fall arrest system and there no other means of fall protection in use.
