29 CFR 1926.1101(g)(2)(ii): The employer did not utilize enclosures or isolation of processes producing  asbestos dust, to achieve compliance with the eight hour time weighted average  permissible exposure limit and/or excursion limit:   (a) On or about 02/19/2013,  for the employees removing friable asbestos material like sheetrock, tile, and mastic using mechanical equipment such as, but not limited to, unfiltered grinders and saws.   Critical barriers were not put up fast enough when removing materials that went into other areas.

29 CFR 1926.1101(g)(2)(v): Wherever feasible engineering and work practice controls were not sufficient to reduce employee exposure to or below the permissible exposure limit and/or excursion limit, the employer did not supplement them by the use of respiratory protection that complied with the requirements of 29 CFR 1926.1101(h):   (a) On or about 02/19/2013,  for the employees removing friable asbestos material like sheetrock, tile, and mastic using mechanical equipment such as, but not limited to, unfiltered grinders and saws.  Employees were not wearing respirators when removing materials.

29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents:   (a) On or about 02/19/2013, for the employees removing friable asbestos material like sheetrock, tile, and mastic using mechanical equipment such as, but not limited to, unfiltered grinders and saws. Employees were not wearing safety glasses.   Lorice Enterprises, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 584678, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 02/06/2013, with respect to a workplace located at 99 Kent Street, Albany, NY 12206.

29 CFR 1926.1101(g)(1)(ii): The employer did not use engineering controls and work practices in all operations covered by 29 CFR 1926.1101, regardless of the levels of exposure, in the form of wet methods or wetting agents to control employee exposures during asbestos handling, mixing, removal, cutting, application and cleanup:   (a) On or about 02/19/2013,  for the employees removing friable asbestos material like sheetrock, tile, and mastic using mechanical equipment such as, but not limited to, unfiltered grinders and saws.   Wet methods were not used when removing materials.   Lorice Enterprises, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.1101(g)(8)(ii)(B), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 584678, citation number 1, item number 6a, and was affirmed as a final order on 02/06/2013, with respect to a workplace located at 99 Kent Street, Albany, NY 12206.
