Employees operate and maintian the equipment which is powered by electric and pneumatic energy sources.

29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i): The employer did not provide adequate training to ensure that the purpose and function of the energy control program was understood by employees:    a) Plant, 153 Ward Drive, William Ward Industrial Park, Claysburg, PA: On or before 02/26/13, the employer had not provide training to maintenance persons and operators in energy sources that power the Rondoline cookie machine, Machine number CO213311 and the Hind-Bock batter depositor, Model 6P-08A, SN 5177.  Employees operate or maintain the equipment which is powered by electric and pneumatic energy sources.

29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii): The  point of operation of machines whose operation exposed an employee to injury, was not guarded:    a) Plant, 153 Ward Drive, William Ward Industrial Park, Claysburg, PA: On or before 01/18/13, the mix hopper on the RONDO line, Machine number CO213311, was not guarded to prevent an employee from reaching into the point of operation. An employee sustained an amputation of her middle and left fingers on her left hand.     b) Plant, 153 Ward Drive, William Ward Industrial Park, Claysburg, PA: On or before 02/26/13, the point of operation on the Hobart bowl mixer, M802, SN 11-400 was not guarded and exposed the operator to the rotating 13 inch wide beater.     c) Plant, 153 Ward Drive, William Ward Industrial Park, Claysburg, PA: On or before 03/05/13, the point of operation on the Hind-Bock batter depositor, Model 6P-08A, SN 5177, was not guarded to prevent an employee from reaching into the point of operation.
