29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:     a.)  On or about February 27, 2013, the employer failed to ensure that the rotating parts on the buffing wheel machine was adequately guarded.  The rotating shaft on the wheel was not guarded exposing employees to caught in hazards.       b.)  On or about February 27, 2013, the employer failed to ensure that the belt on the sanding/polishing machine was adequately guarded.  The belt is open and rotating exposing employees to caught in hazards.
