The employer does not protect employees from falling when working 6 feet or more above lower levels. This violation was observed at the construction site on February 27, 2013 where employee was exposed to a 30 ft. fall hazard when performing residential construction activities without fall protection system.      GUEVARA ROOFING WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11) WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 312922289, CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM 1 ISSUED ON JUNE 10, 2010, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 8333 SCANLAN TRACE BLVD., MISSOURI CITY, TX 77459.    Pursuant to 29 C.F.R. 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the abatement date, the employer must submit documentation showing that it is in compliance with the standard, including describing the steps that it is taking to ensure that employees engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels are protected from falling.
