29 CFR 1910.178(n)(6): The driver shall be required to look in the direction of, and keep a clear view of the path of travel.    TERMINAL:  The employer had not ensured through providing specific instructions, appropriate types of trainings and visual observation that the operators of the powered industrial trucks (PIT) were looking in the direction and keep a clear view of the path of travel at all times.      On or about February 23, 2013, an employee, who was working/walking in and around the rear end of a tractor trailer (trailer) was hit by a PIT that was existing the trailer in the reverse direction, and the employee sustained injuries in one of legs and ankles.
