29 CFR 1910.23(c)(1):     Open-sided floors and/or platforms four feet or more above adjacent floor or ground level were not guarded with standard railings (or equivalent) and toeboards:    a)  Steinert Sorting System #1, Sides of Pan Feeder - One end of the guardrail was approximately 27 inches above the platform, and the other end of the guardrail was approximately 35 1/2 inches above the platform.  b)  Steinert Sorting System #1, Top of Stairway - A guardrail was not provided along an edge approximately 18 inches long.  c)  Steinert Sorting System #2, Sides of Pan Feeder - One end of the guardrail was approximately 27 inches above the platform, and the other end of the guardrail was approximately 35 1/2 inches above the platform.  d)  Steinert Sorting System #2, Top of Stairway - A guardrail was not provided along an edge approximately 18 inches long.  e)  Eddy Current Platform, East Side - The top railing of a nine foot section of guardrail was approximately 35 inches above the platform.  f)  Eddy Current Platform, Reversing Conveyor Head Pulley, East Side - A guardrail was not provided between the platform and the head pulley.    g)  Eddy Current Platform, Along Both Sides of the Conveyor - A midrail was not provided between the platform and sides of the conveyor.  h)  Eddy Current Platform, Along Both Sides of Huron Valley Eddy Current Unit - Guardrails or cover plates were not provided between the platform and sides of the Huron Valley Eddy Current.
