29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):     Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system.    a) West Kimberly Ave., Brandt Beach:  An employee installing fascia board on the flat roof of a three story residential structure under construction was not using fall protection and was exposed to a fall hazard greater than 30 feet from the roof to the ground below.  Observed on or about 3/15/2013.    NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
