29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):  Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system.  At the location of 154th & Bond St. in Overland Park, KS.  an employee engaged in residential construction was exposed to fall hazards of approximately 12 feet from the roofs edge to the ground below. The employee was exposed in that a fall protection system was not in place to keep him from falling.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer shall provide a training program for each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards. The program shall enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and shall train each employee in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards.  At the location of 154th & Bond St. in Overland Park, KS. The employer who was constructing a new residential house did not train the employee on the roof to minimize the hazards of falling while nailing down roof sheathing.
