The company has multiple areas including, but not limited to cookers which meet the definition of confined spaces.

29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1):     One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:    Repair Shop in the facility  The employer is failing to protect employees from the hazards of rotating parts of machines by not properly guarding the drill area on the drill press in the facility.  Employees are exposed to laceration and amputation hazards by not guarding this area of the machine.

29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1)(ii):     The written hazard communication program did not include the methods the employer will use to inform employees of the hazards of non routine tasks, and the hazards associated with chemicals contained in unlabeled pipes in their work areas:     Throughout the facility  The employer is failing to ensure that the company has a written hazard communications (HAZCOM) program which contains all of the elements required by this subpart.  The company has unlabeled piping in their facility and no provision in their written program as to how to deal with this issue as required by this subpart.

29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1):     Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area:    Throughout the facility - The employer is failing to provide Hazard Communication training to employees either during their initial assignment or whenever a new physical or health hazard that the employee has not previously been trained for has been introduced into their work area.  Some of the employees in the facility had not received training on the hazards of the chemicals/materials in the facility in which they could be potentially exposed.
