29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3):   Exit route(s) were not kept free and unobstructed:  On or about March 21, 2013, the exit route in the rear of the store was obstructed by boxes and a ten (10) foot ladder, exposing employees to trip and fall hazards in case of emergency.   Pursuant to 29 C.F.R. 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the date of this citation, the employer must submit documentation showing that it is in compliance with the standard, including describing the steps that it is taking to ensure that the exit routes are free from obstruction.  The Foot Locker was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 538118, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on September 20, 2012, with respect to a workplace located at 2901 Capital of Texas Highway, Austin, TX 78746 .
