Employees used a variety of paints, thinners, and other materials including Amercoat 65 Paint Thinner.

29 CFR 1910.1200(h):  Employees were not provided effective information and training as specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1) and on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard was introduced:        Building 1202 construction project, Presidio of San Francisco, CA - On or about March 21, 2013, and at times prior thereto, the employer failed to protect their employees by training them on the hazards associated with various paints, thinners and other chemicals including Amercoat 65 Paint thinner.  Employees had not been trained on all chemical and materials used at the worksite including the hazards, exposures, PPE, labeling and other forms of warnings on worksite chemicals and materials.
