29 CFR 1926.501(b)(4)(ii): Each employee on a walking/working surface was not protected from tripping in or stepping into or through holes by covers:   a)  On or about March 25, 2013, and times prior thereto, at the USCG Tybee Island multi-purpose building renovation jobsite, the employer failed to ensure that a 1 sq. ft. floor hole on the second floor was protected, exposing two employees to trip and fall hazards.   b)  On or about March 25, 2013, and times prior thereto, at the USCG Tybee Island multi-purpose building renovation jobsite, the employer failed to ensure that a 11.5 in. X 7 in. floor  hole on the second floor was protected, exposing two employees to trip and fall hazards.  ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION IS NOT REQUIRED.

29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(1): The employer did not have a material safety data sheet for each hazardous chemical in use (Construction reference 1926.59):  a)    On March 25, 2013, and times prior thereto, at the USCG Tybee Island multi-purpose building renovation jobsite, the employer failed to ensure that employees had access to safety data sheets for diesel and gasoline motor fuels, and oxygen and acetylene for cutting steel, exposing employees to non-serious safety and health hazards.   ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION IS NOT REQUIRED.
