29 CFR 1910.132(a):     Protective equipment was not used when necessary whenever hazards capable of causing injury and impairment were encountered:    In the following locations employees were not protected from falls from roofs when walking or working near the roofs' unprotected edges:  a)  Roof above Line 8 Oven - The maintenance employees were not protected from falls while servicing the Line 8 oven exhaust fan drive unit which was approximately 12 feet from the edge of the roof.  b)  Transition from Line 8 Roof to Warehouse Roof - The stairway was approximately seven feet from the edge of the Line 8 roof.
