Pleasant, NJ:  Employees were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 15 feet from the eave to the ground level while performing roofing repair and replacement without the use of fall protection, observed on or about 4/2/13.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(2): The employer did not assure that each employee exposed to fall hazards was trained by a competent person qualified in the areas specified in 29 CFR 1926.503 (a)(2)(i) through (viii):  a)  1811 Harvard Avenue, Pt. Pleasant, NJ:  Employees were not trained in the hazards associated with but not limited to fall hazards, fall protection, and the proper use and operation of the fall protection, observed on or about 3/26/13.    NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
