29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:   a) At the time of inspection the manual lathe (GH-2280ZX) located in the south corner of the production area was not guarded. The chuck guard was not in place while employees were utilizing the equipment   b) The Komatsu press brake located on the wester portion of the shop was not guarded effectivley. The press brake controls were designated to operate by foot pedal. Operators of the machine were not guarded from the point of operation by other means necessary.
