29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents:  On or about April 10, 2013, at 1605 Creek Bend Lane, Lawrenceville, Georgia:  a) Four employees performing framing work were exposed to struck-by hazards from nails and wood chips when they used Hitachi NR83A2(S1) nail guns without wearing eye protection.  b) Four employees performing framin work were exposed to struck-by hazards from wood chips and sawdust when they used Makita 5007F radial saws without wearing eye protection.

29 CFR 1926.403(b)(1): Employer did not ensure that electrical equipment is free from recognized hazards that are likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees:  On or about April 10, 2013, at 1605 Creek Bend Lane, Lawrenceville, Georgia:  Four employees performing framing work were exposed to electrical shock hazards while operating Makita 5007F, 120 Volt, 15 amp, Radial saws when the employer did not inspect the flexible cords the employees used that had the sheathing cut exposing the wires and strain relief damage.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):   On or about April 10, 2013, at 1605 Creek Bend Lane, Lawrenceville, Georgia:  a) Two employees performing framing work were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 10.8-feet when they worked at the unprotected edge of the house without using fall protection.   b) Four employees performing framing work were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 10.2 to 10.8-feet when the employer did not protect the employees from falling into the unprotected floor openings for two stairwells.
