29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.    a. 5 Lawrence Street, Bloomfield, NJ - Parkway Lofts Project - West side, south end, 2nd and 3rd floor.        Sub-contractor employees on walking/working surfaces at the south end, west side 2nd and 3rd floors were not protected from falling to the next lower level by use of a guardrail system, a safety net system, or personal fall arrest systems.  Sub-contractor employees were exposed to 11 to 22 foot fall hazards.       Violation observed on or about April 11, 2013       b. 5 Lawrence Street, Bloomfield, NJ - Parkway Lofts Project - 2nd level ,south end, near exterior of elevator shafts 3 & 4.       Sub-contractor employees performing concrete drilling activities an walking/working surface adjacent to elevator shafts 3 & 4 were not protected from falling to the next lower level by use of a guardrail system, a safety net system, or personal fall arrest systems.  Sub-contractor employees were exposed to 11-foot fall hazards.       Violation observed on or about April 11, 2013       c. 5 Lawrence Street, Bloomfield, NJ - Parkway Lofts Project - Center building near lobby stairs.       Sub-contractor employees on walking/working surface adjacent to the center lobby staircase were not protected from falling to the next lower level by use of a guardrail system, a safety net system, or personal fall arrest systems.  Sub-contractor employees were exposed to 11-foot fall hazards.      Violation observed on or about April 11, 2013
