29 CFR 1910.213(h)(1): The upper hood did not completely enclose the upper portion of the blade down to a point that include the end of the saw arbor. The sides of the lower exposed portion of the blade were not guarded to the full diameter of the blade by a device that automatically adjusts itself to the thickness of the stock and remains in contact with stock being cut to give maximum protection possible for the operation being performed:    a) Truss Plant: The #2 Metra-Cut radial arm saw was not equipped with a self adjusting guard exposing the operator to an amputation hazard, on or about April 16, 2013.     b)Truss Plant: The Dewalt 10 inch radial arm saw was not equipped with a cover that completely enclosed the upper portion of the blade down to a point that included the end of the saw arbor. Additionally, the sides of the lower portion of the blade were not equipped with a self adjusting guard exposing the operator to an amputation hazard, on or about April 16, 2013.
