29 CFR 1910.157(b)(2): An emergency action plan meeting the requirements of 1910.38, which designated certain employees to be the only employees authorized to use the available portable fire extinguishers and which required all other employees in the fire area to immediately evacuate the affected work area upon the sounding of the fire alarm, was not developed and implemented. (a) On or about February 19, 2013, employees working at 910 W. 48th Street in Kansas City, MO, were exposed to potential hazards in that the employer's emergency action plan was not fully developed and fully implemented in the areas of specific assignments, training and post-evacuation employee accounting.
