North Side of the Facility, West of Chlorine Room: On or about April 22, 2013, and at times prior thereto, the 12,470-Volt electrical transformer adjacent to a driveway was not provided with bollards to protect from vehicles. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method of providing mechanical protection is to strategically place bollards around the transformer. This practice provides a degree of protection from vehicles in accordance with the National Electrical Code Handbook-2011, Article 450.8(A) Mechanical Protection for Guarding of Transformers.
