29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1): The employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards were present, or were likely to be present, which necessitated the use of personal protective equipment: a) Back Room, Meat and Fish Cutting Area: On or about 4/24/2013, the employer had not assessed the workplace to determine the hazards employees were exposed to and the needed personal protective equipment they needed when they were preforming the jobs of cutting meat and fish with knives to prevent cut hazards. b) Throughout the Establishment: On or about 4/24/2012, the employer had not assessed the workplace to determine the hazards employees were exposed to and the personal protective equipment they needed when working with the sanitizer Nu-Foam performing cleaning and sanitizing duties. c) throughout the Establishment: On or about 4/24/2013, the employer had not assess the workplace to determine the hazards employees had potential exposure to human blood after an industrial accident and what personal protective equipment they needed to perform clean-up activies.
