ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: a) On or about 04/29/13, in the warehouse/product disassembly areas, there was not an emergency eyewash/shower equipment immediately available for employees transferring and diluting corrosive chemicals, such as, but not limited to: H2D2-Heavy Duty Cleaner/Degreaser and CORR Action Plus Spontaneous Emulsifier. b) On or about 04/29/13, in the chemistry room, there was not an emergency eyewash unit immediately adjacent to the area where employees handled corrosive concentrated acids such as, but not limited to: Nitric Acid, 70% and Hydrochloric Acid, 33-40%. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
