29 CFR 1926.304(f): All woodworking tools and machinery did not meet other applicable requirements of American National Standards Institute, 01.1-1961, Safety Code for Woodworking Machinery: Section 4.1.2(b), Circular hand-fed rip saws were not equipped with a spreader to prevent material from pinching saw or being thrown back on the operator and/or Section 4.1.2(c), Non-kickback fingers or dogs so located as to oppose the thrust or tendency of the saw to pick up the material or throw it back toward the operator.    a) Garage: On or about April 25, 2013, and at times prior thereto, the "Bosch" 10-inch contractor's type table saw did not have a spreader.    b) Garage: On or about April 25, 2013, and at times prior thereto, the "Bosch" 10-inch contractor's type table saw did not have an anti-kickback device.    NOTE: Abatement certification IS required for this item.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):    a) Northside of the structure: On or about April 25, 2013, and at times prior thereto, an employee observed on the exterior top plate that was approximately 18 feet high and 3.5 inches wide without fall protection.    b) Northside of the structure: On or about April 25, 2013, and at times prior thereto, an employee was observed standing on the peak of a lower sheathed section of the roof structure without fall protection.    c) Southside of the structure:  On or about April 25, 2013, and at times prior thereto, an employee was oibserved on the exterior top plate approximately approximately 12 feet high and 3.5 inches wide without fall protection.     NOTE: Abatement certification IS required for this item.
