29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1): The employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards were present, or were likely to be present, which necessitated the use of personal protective equipment:    JOB SITE: 107 S. Public Street, Center, MO 63436, at this facility, the employer failed to conduct a workplace hazard  assessment to determine the type of personal protective equipment required.  The workers are allowed slaughter animals without eye or face protection, gloves, and hard hats while they operate the Jarvis band saw, trim and hand cut raw meats without gloves, and operate a band saw without eye or face protection and gloves.

Public Street, Center, MO 63436, at this facility, workers are allowed operate a Jarvis band saw in the slaughter room and a table band saw in the trimming room to cut raw meats, without any form of eye or face protection.  The workers are exposed to eye or face hazard.

29 CFR 1910.138(a): The employer did not select and require employee(s) to use appropriate hand protection when employees' hands were exposed to hazards such as those from skin absorption of harmful substances; severe cuts or lacerations; severe abrasion:   JOB SITE: 107 S. Public Street, Center, MO 63436, at this facility, the employer allowed his meat cutters in the meat cutting area to handle and cut raw meats without any form of hand protection.  The workers are exposed to potential harmful bacteria, germs, cuts, and lacerations hazards.
