29 CFR 1926.403(b)(1)(ii): Safety of equipment was not determined on the basis of mechanical strength and durability, including, for parts designed to enclose and protect other equipment, the adequacy of the protection thus provided:  a) 3200 Chestnut St, Philadelphia, PA - The energized connection/splice point (120 volts) between the temporary wiring and the temporary electrical outlets were not sufficiently guarded with durability against accidental contact in several locations throughout the job site, exposing the employees to an electrocution/shock hazard.This violation was observed on or about April 19, 2013.  Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
