29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:     (a)  The Hassia B packing machine did not have machine guarding near the lid stack splicer area where employees inspect the material, exposing employees to pinch points and ingoing nip points.     (b)  The Case Packer #4 machine did not have machine guarding on the end of the machine exposing employees to pinch points as a ram pushed boxes down a line.           ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION AND DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED
