29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(v):     A safety harness, with lanyard attached to the boom or basket, was not worn by employee(s) working from an aerial lift:     a)  Harbor Beach Blvd. & Lighthouse Dr., Brigantine, NJ:  A Personal Touch Painting and Power Washing, Inc. employee was working approximately 20 feet above the ground from a Genie extensible boom aerial lift.  The employee was wearing a safety harness; however the lanyard was not attached to the boom or basket and thus exposed the worker to a fall hazard.  Observed on or about 5/14/2013.      NOTE: BECAUSE ABATEMENT OF THIS VIOLATION IS ALREADY DOCUMENTED IN THE CASE FILE, THE EMPLOYER NEED NOT SUBMIT CERTIFICATION OR DOCUMENTATION OF ABATEMENT OF THIS VIOLATION AS NORMALLY REQUIRED BY 29 CFR 1903.19.
