29 CFR 1910.303(b)(1): Electrical equipment was not free from recognized hazards that were likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: a) On or about May 15, 2013, and at times prior, employees were exposed to electrical arcing hazards where the outer jacket of the battery charging cable on the Raymond pallet jack (serial no. 112-03-48805) was damaged; b) On or about May 15, 2013, and at times prior, employees were exposed to electrical shock hazards where the receptacle for the battery charger on the JLG Electric Ladder (EL 1) was damaged. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").

29 CFR 1910.305(g)(2)(iii): Flexible cords and cables were not connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief was provided that would prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws: a) On or about May 15, 2013, and at times prior, employees were exposed to electrical shock hazards where the cords for the battery chargers on JLG Electric Ladders EL 2 and EL 4 did not have adequate strain relief at the connections of the cords and the plugs. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").
