29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): Frequent and regular inspections of the job site, materials, and equipment to be conducted by a competent person designated by the employer was not provided by the employer who was responsible to initiate and maintain an accident prevention program:    a- 162 First Avenue, Manasquan NJ: A competent person did not conduct frequent and regular inspections of the jobsite.  Employees on this site were exposed to hazards including, but not limited to electrical hazards.  Condition noted on or about 05/20/13.      NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR 1926.416(a)(1): No employer shall permit an employee to work in such proximity to any part of an electric power circuit that the employee could contact the electric power circuit in the course of work, unless the employee is protected against electric shock by deenergizing the circuit and grounding it or by guarding it effectively by insulation or other means.    a- 162 First Avenue, Manasquan NJ: Company employees, carrying a 96" long strip of aluminum, were exposed to electrocution hazards when working from an aluminum extension ladder that was less than 16" from a live power line.  Condition noted on or bout 05/20/13.
