29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1):  Each employee engaged in a steel erection activity who is on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge more than 15 feet (4.6 m) above a lower level was not protected from fall hazards by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, positioning device systems, or fall restraint systems:  The employer does not ensure employees engaged in metal roof decking activities are protected from falling.  This violation was most recently determined to exist at the worksite located at 5336 Central Avenue in Hot Springs, Arkansas, where employees engaged in the installation of metal roof decking were exposed to unprotected falls of greater than 15 feet.  Pursuant to 29 CFR 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the abatement date, the employer must submit documentation showing that it is in compliance with the standard, including describing the steps that it is taking to ensure employees are protected from falls from elevations.
